BP Profile Search › Specific search page

Hi!
I would like to create a specific page for the advanced member search, where the search is opened from start. Is this possible?
Best,
JessicaHi Jessica,
If you have a specific page containing the search form, you probably don’t need the Collapsible Form feature, and you can disable it in the Form Template box.
Your form will start open, and will stay open, while your search results will be shown in the form’s target directory.
Hi Andrea,
how could I use the form on another page? In my understanding, it is fixed on the members page? Is there any shortcode I could use?
Thanks,
JessicaYes, you can use the shortcode shown in the Users -> Profile Search admin page, rightmost column.
If you prefer, you can also try the Profile Search widget, it could be placed in a sidebar without disturbing the content of the directory page.
How can I get it to look and fit seamlessly with the buddyboss theme?
HI Jonathan,
As you may know, the BuddyBoss platform contains a basic version of BP Profile Search which is seamlessly integrated with their theme.
If you want to use the standard BP Profile Search plugin instead, you’ll need to add CSS rules to properly style the search form. Unfortunately I’m not a CSS expert, and I’m unable to assist with this task.
