    Andrea,

I am creating simple “Quick search” buttons linking to my members page, with various search criteria included in URL.

    eg.

Button “Show all members” …..links to mysite.com/members

Button “Show all female USA members” ….links to mysite.com/members + female + location USA

And so on. Works fine. Results are displayed sorted by “Last Active”, the default.

However, I want to make a “Show newest registered members” button, which means linking to /members but with results automatically displayed sorted by “newest registered”.

Can this be done by adding something in the destination URL?

    Thanks for any help (again!)

    Hi Michael,

Unfortunately I don’t know of any way to change the Order By option without actually selecting it from the Order By drop-down.

I could suggest you a way to permanently disable the Order By drop-down and replace it with a fixed option. Probably that’s not what you need, but if you are interested I’ll post it here.

Thanks Andrea, I will see what info I can find about all this and get back to you. Just thought I’d ask you first.
