BP Profile Search › Form is wrecked after update.

Hi, I have just updated BP Profile Search to 4.3.1 and now underneath every search field there is the text ‘BP Profile Search: don’t know how to display the hidden field type.’ This is a live site with many members, how do I fix this? Also there is no default field selected so why does it show as default the last option, for example; Country search shows Zimbabwe instead of Afghanistan. I am not technical I only upload plugins from the wp-admin, is there a previous version I can upload somewhere to remove all this and go back to having a website that works? Thank you, any advice much appreciated!
Is this something to do with it? I have no idea what this means, what am I supposed to do? Edit and update what? 4.3 wordpress template??
Note: If you are using a modified 4.2.x or 4.3 template, you have to edit and update it to the 4.3.1 template structure before upgrading. If you haven’t modified the built-in templates instead, you can upgrade safely.

Probably your theme is using a modified BP Profile Search form template. You could check with the theme authors and if that’s the case they will release a new theme version.
In the meantime you can:
1. Download the zip archive of BP Profile Search 4.2.4 from:
https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/bp-profile-search.4.2.4.zip
2. Deactivate and delete the current BP Profile Search version from your WP admin.
3. Upload bp-profile-search.4.2.4.zip from your WP admin (Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin).
4. Activate BP Profile Search 4.2.4.
