GuestHello,
A lot of our users have been complaining to us that filters don’t work, and we only recently noticed that they actually only work for admins. When users with the role subscriber try to use the filters, nothing happens.
Do you know how to fix this?
Thank you very much for your help! ?

GuestHello Andrea!
Thank you for the quick answer! Really appreciate that 🙂
Our website a paid membership website so you won’t be able to see the page that has the filters since that page is gated :/
Our current setup is: BuddyPress + BP Profile Search + Paid Memberships Pro. And for the theme, we use the Seeko dating theme.
I don’t know if anything of those things would conflict with the filters…andrea
Plugin AuthorHello Hast,
Paid Memberships Pro – BuddyPress Add On could conflict with BP Profile Search under certain conditions. If you are using it, could you try to temporarily deactivate it on your test site?

GuestHello Andrea,
I have tried deactivating the Paid Memberships Pro plugin but the filters still have no effect… 🙁
When I apply filters and click on the search button, the list of members is still the same, it doesn’t change based on the filters. It only works for admins

Plugin AuthorHello Hast,
To rule out other possible conflicts, you can:
1. Deactivate all your plugins except BuddyPress and BP Profile Search
2. Switch to a default theme
3. Rename your bp-custom.php file if you have one
4. Confirm that the search works correctly with this basic setup. Now you can restore your original setup, one piece at a time, and note when the search stops working. If your site is online, it’s probably best to use a test site instead.
