Hi i am using the BP Member Types and am only wishing to display one member type so my url of my public facing member directory is
https://www.nrfaustralia.com.au/nrf-members/type/fighters/how do i get the search to show on this page as it’s not a “post” or “page” it’s part of a plug in generated page so i am not sure where to add the php code? any help?
Hi Mel,
The page type you mention is not supported by BP Profile Search, but there is a way to get the same results, if you customize the standard Members directory to show a single member type.
Edit the standard Members directory page, you’ll see that its content is completely empty. Enter this shortcode in the page content area:
[bps_directory bp_member_type="Fighter"]and save the page. Now your Members directory will show only Fighters, and you can add your search form there using the Add to Directory option.
Does this work for you?
