    hello andrea,

    I was checking user numbers today and I wonder if you have an Explanation why the user numbers are higher in the backend, then in all members overview. I have over 700 subscribers, but in the members overview we only see 634.

    Hello Jessica,

    By default, the BuddyPress member directory shows only active members. To view all members, you must select Order By: Alphabetical.

    Even so, BuddyPress only shows members with user_status = 0. If you look into your wp_users table with phpMyAdmin or a similar tool, you should be able to find hidden members with a non-zero user_status.
