I see how to use the field ID to create a hidden filter based on your documentation here https://dontdream.it/bp-profile-search/custom-directories/ but I can’t see how to use Groups specifically. Is this possible? I’m thinking it must be something like [bps_directory groups_match_any=”1″] where 1 is the group ID but it doesn’t seem to return the result? Am I missing something here?

Nevermind! Figured it out randomly – it’s not the group ID it’s the Group Title! so for anyone looking in the future, it’s [bps_directory groups_match_any=”Group Title”]

    Hi Will,

I’ll have to expand the documentation on hidden filters, in the meantime thank you for sharing the solution!

Having said this, ID is probably a more robust solution if you wanted to look at changing to that. There’s the possibility for having multiple groups with the same name (two hidden groups for example) and may result in unexpected issues.

Good suggestion, thank you! Added to my to-do list.
