    Hi Andrea,

    Great plugin, so far so good. Just need help with page titles. I’m using custom directories to display specific users that belong to specific groups. Is there a shortcode I can use that will display the page title of the actual page rather than the name of the directory?

    Hi Chileshe,

    If you are using a standard theme, you should be able to see the actual page title of your custom directory. Which theme are you using?

    Hi Andrea,

    The theme I’m using Kadence. I tried to switch to Twenty Twenty-One and got the same behaviour.

    What I am requesting is if there’s a way to show the actual page title instead of the Directory title. I’ve altered the website link in the “my information” section so you can see what I mean. The heading says Advisors(the directory title), but I need it to be the actual page title of the page instead.

    Hi Chileshe,

    Your members directory is not using the standard BuddyPress template, but the template provided by Youzify, and apparently the Youzify template does not display the page title.

    If you temporarily deactivate Youzify you should be able to see the actual page title in your members directory.

    I’m not familiar with Youzify, so I suggest you ask the Youzify team for advice regarding this issue.

    Hi Andrea,

    It’s been resolved by the guys over at Youzify as per your suggestions. They were able to alter their template by adding a snippet to bp-custom.php.
