KarenGuest
I have been using [bps_directory] successfully for a while. However recently, it is not displaying the directory anymore. Just blank.
I have followed the instructions here previously custom directories
I hope someone can point me in the right direction on what to check or change please. Thanks in advance!

Could you please install the BP Classic plugin, and see if that removes the problem?
KarenGuestThank you for your quick response! I read about that in the changelog and installed it last night and it appears to have restored the previous settings.
Is there something else we need to do to future proof the setup? i.e., is the BP Classic plugin just a temporary measure? Please advise, thanks.
andreaPlugin AuthorHi Karen,
You’re welcome!
Yes, BP Classic is a temporary measure, but it may be needed for a long time to come.
KarenGuestWill it be better if we change to using the bp-nouveau template instead of bp-legacy?
andreaPlugin AuthorNo, the template pack doesn’t make a difference in this case.
In a nutshell, starting with BuddyPress 12.0.0 you can freely modify the URLs of your BuddyPress pages, but this causes a few incompatibilities with themes and plugins.
BP Classic, when activated, disables this new BuddyPress feature and removes all the related incompatibilities with themes and plugins.
KarenGuestThanks, got it!
