Hi Andrea.
Please see the picture.
I have Version 5.3.2 installed. But it already happened in Version 5.3
And I can’t change the age range either. Edit profile field! “Date selector”

If you were using the code suggested in:

that code has changed a little in version 5.3, please have a look at that page to see the current version.

Issue fixed, after my theme posted a new update. Regarding the picture, above!
I still have a issue, setting the date range.
Even if I use your snippet!

Could it be another plugin? there is causing this issue..or would it help to modifying the default form template? I have just installed a child theme!Best regards Carsten.

Sorry, I didn’t notice the current range starts from 19 🙂
Well, if you didn’t set the range, probably the settings are elsewhere, say in your theme or in your profile field. Did you look there? And anyway the question is, who is setting the current range right now? BP Profile Search doesn’t set any range by itself.
That’s the issue, I wanna set the age range from 18…But I can’t change the age range, at all. Every time I try to set it. It returns the same value. I have even tried to create a new field, but with the same results. See picture –

Thanks for always responding and trying to help. 🙂 and thank you, but that will not be necessary. Because I just found the issue and of course, it’s a plugin.
The “BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Field Types plugin” is causing the issue. If you deactivate it. Change the age range in the field settings and then activate it again. It keeps the settings. So in the future, you’ll have to deactivate this plugin, to change the settings and then afterwards, activate it again! I will report the bug to byddydev, later.
