BP Profile Search › After search, "back" on browser problem

Hi Andrea,
Can you help? After a search on my site I get members listed 20 per page, pages 1,2,3,4 etc, sorted by recently active. All good.
If I click to page 2, for example, then click on a member-avatar, take a look, and then click “back” on browser. Instead of going back to page 2 of the search results, the search is performed again and I am back on page 1 of a new set of search results.
Can this be avoided? Users of my site keep complaining about this “bug”. Best I can do is advise them to always view profiles by opening in a new tab.

Unfortunately that’s how BuddyPress works. Even without BP Profile Search, when you browse the members directory and then click on a user profile, with the back button you don’t go back to the correct directory page but always to the first page.
I would suggest the same workaround, i.e. opening user profiles in a new tab.
