I would like to create a similar layout as shown as below link:
https://fxrecruiter.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/recruitment-web-design-job-search1.pngI have created 2 profile search forms for my buddypress site, one is basic search : fewer profile field options; the second one is advanced search: more profile field options
My purpose is to simplify the layout and let the user to choose between the basic search and advanced search options.
Grateful if you could let me know what shall I do. Thanks a lot.

You could edit the code in the form template you are using, adding to the ‘Search’ button your new ‘Advanced Search’ button.
The new button could then link to a page where you have set up the larger search form, using the form shortcode.
