    Hi,
The search doesn’t seem to work. It just keeps displaying all the members of the site no matter what filters I use. Right below “Viewing 1 – 5 of 5 active members” which makes me think that that’s displayed no matter what and the actual results should be displayed above that – which they’re not.
Any ideas? Still not clear on how this is supposed to work/display.
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi Panos,

The search results are displayed in the members directory you select in the form editing page, see the documentation for details.

If that doesn’t work, you could try to switch to a default theme and see if the problem goes away. Please let me know if you need more information.

    Andrea,
Thanks for replying. I followed the steps in your docs and set it up like you say. Eventually I would want the results to show in their own page but for now I have it set up vanilla. Just default settings. I switched to a default theme and it’s set up to display the results in the members directory. Nothing’s working. I’m scratching my head… Any ideas?
    Thank you.

    Hello Panos,

It could be a plugin conflict. To rule it out, please disable all your plugins except BuddyPress and BP Profile Search, switch to a default theme and see if the search works.

    Hi Andrea,
Yes, it was a conflict. The perpetrator is the Paid Memberships Pro – BuddyPress Add On. Have you seen that before? Do you have an idea of what might be causing it?
    Thanks for your time.

    Hi Panos,

Paid Memberships Pro – BuddyPress Add On is a very young plugin, and it’s understandable they have a few details to iron out.

I suggest you report this issue on their support forum, and I’m sure they will fix it. You can mention that I’m available to answer their questions if they have any.

    Hi Andrea,
Unfortunately PMP won’t give you access to support if you’re not a paid member, which, at minimum, is $297/year.
    Thanks for your time.
