BP Profile Search › Need help setting up fields for subjects and levels

Hello,
I am creating a website where students can search for tutors using BP.
I basically need the student to be able to select the subject category (say languages for example), then I have set up a conditional field for the subject which will display different values for each category (such as french, german, italian etc).
However, I know also need to be able to do two things which is where I am struggling:
– the tutor must be able to add more than one subject (adding something like a button that says “add another subject” would be good then fresh fields appear?)
– also need to allow the tutor to add the level they teach at. These levels won’t differ from subject to subject and will all be the same. They have to be attached to each subject the tutor enters for the search funtionality. For example the tutor may teach english literature at higher level, but french at standard grade.
My search form will have the four following fields:
subject category / subject (conditional on the first) / subject / postcode
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hello Harvey,
Unfortunately BuddyPress doesn’t provide the ability to add multiple values to the same field, and I’m not aware of any plugins doing that.
Until that feature is available, BP Profile Search won’t be able to support the search you need. Sorry!
Hi Andrea,
Thanks for the reply. So would it be possible to create something similar to this site then?
Is there anything you can suggest as a work around?
