Hello. All pages are public, accesible for every user. If i sinup there’s no problem. If not, i can see only search button, no the search fields.
That should not happen. Could you try to deactivate all your plugins except BuddyPress and BP Profile Search, switch to a default theme and see if the problem goes away?

I have this same issue… only when you are logged is the form visible / the search button is always visible whether you are logged in or not.
