BP Profile Search › Pagination issue here too

GuestI’m having an issue where when I search and it returns more than 20 users, the pagination does not continue where it left off and repeats some results.
This is a private company intranet and I have the widget running in the sidebar with 4 search options. Form method is post. Action is members. Add to directory is no (as it seems that the field just adds the form above the directory and it looks wonky with my theme). Text search mode is contains.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,Chris
GuestFYI – Just fixed it by sorting the members loop alphabetically. I think this was due to the fact that we had all members activated at the same time by a db query and it it was sorting them by last active and all but us admins had the same date.

Plugin AuthorHi Chris,
Thank you for sharing your findings. Can you confirm that the same happens in the standard Members directory, without BP Profile Search?
Chris
GuestI’ll have to take out the code to sort alphabetically and check. I try to do this for you when I get to work.
I suspect that the plugin was not the issue however. I suspect that since we did a DB update to make all 100 employees at the same time, the issue happened. Since the default sort is by last active and all 100 employees had the exact same last active time. Since I updated the sort to alphabetical, I no longer have the issue.

GuestConfirmed it was an issue with the sort by active users. Was the same in the members directory. This may not be an issue for everyone, but in our case we had activated them all with a DB update so they all had the exact same last active time.

Plugin AuthorHi Chris,
Thanks for your feedback. I agree that yours is not a common use case, but I’m going to submit this issue to the BuddyPress team, and I’ll keep you informed.
