    Dear Andrea,

    I hope you’re doing well.

I’m using your plugin for member search on my bbPress forum, and I’ve encountered an issue when navigating back after viewing a member profile.

    Issue Description:
    1. I perform a member search using the plugin.
    2. I click on a member profile, and everything works fine.
    3. When I hit the back button in the browser to return to the search results, I get the following error message:
“Confirm Form Resubmission – To display this page properly, the data you previously entered is needed. ERR_CACHE_MISS”
    4. The issue occurs across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge).

    What I’ve Tried So Far:
    • Cleared cache and tested in incognito mode.
    • Ensured that caching is disabled for bbPress pages.

Do you have any suggestions or solutions to prevent this issue?
Is it possible to configure the plugin so that the search results are retained without triggering the form resubmission warning?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and for developing this great plugin!

    Best regards,
    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,

This is a security feature in most browsers, designed to prevent the repetition of any action previously performed on the last page, such as a bank transaction, product order, etc.

In our case the previous action was simply a directory lookup, so it is safe to confirm the new submission.

I don’t think a web page can disable this browser feature, but if you don’t want to trigger it you can change the Form Method in your Form Settings from POST to GET.
