GuestI am following this guide https://dontdream.it/bp-profile-search/custom-directories/. I am using a checkbox, upon checking the mark up. I ended up having this shortcode, [bps_directory field_1031_match_single=”au-pair”]. But it still displays all the members. Any help would be appriciated.

Plugin AuthorHi Mark,
You found a bug in BP Profile Search, thanks for reporting it!
I’m going to fix it soon, but in the meantime you can use:
[bps_directory field_1031_match_all="au-pair"]or:
[bps_directory field_1031_match_any="au-pair"]mark

Plugin AuthorHi Mark,
If you wish, I can take a look at your test site. I’ll need a WP admin access, and you can share it privately using my Contact page.

GuestHi Andrea,
I have posted a comment in your contact pageandrea
Plugin AuthorHi Mark,
Thank you for your credentials.
I noticed that field 1031 is not a standard profile field type, but is a custom field type provided by a BuddyDev plugin, and unfortunately it’s not supported as it is, it would require some small changes in the BuddyDev code to be properly supported.
You can use the following shortcode instead:
[bps_directory bp_member_type="Au Pair"]I made the change on your test site and it seems to be working.

Plugin AuthorHi Vlizzard,
If you have the same issue, the solution is the same, see above:
If your issue is not exactly the same, you might want to open a new topic with additional details on your case.
