BP Profile Search › Change the Advance Search title on the member directory

Hello,
I’ve created 3 search forms that are displayed automatically on the member’s directory page. They seem to work fine, which is cool. The question I have is, they are all displayed with the title, “Advanced Search”. How do I change the title for each search? I’d like them to either display the Form Title as entered when making the search form, or have a way to modify them manually. It looks like there used to be an option like that in older versions in the Form Template Option Area in settings, but I don’t see that any more and can’t find anything about it in the documentation.

Newer templates display the actual title of the form, while older ones display the ‘Advanced Search’ title but offer the option to edit it in the Form Template box. Which template are you using for your forms?
I’m using plugin version 5.0.5 and the current template chosen is: members/bps-form-legacy
However, if I choose either of the other templates available to choose from, it still only displays Advanced Search.

Could you please paste the text displayed in the Form Template box when you select the bps-form-legacy template?

custom template located in: themes/kleo/buddypress/That means your template is a custom template provided by your theme, Kleo.
If you switch for a moment to a default theme, you’ll be able to edit the ‘Advanced Search’ text, and the change will probably remain when you switch back to Kleo.
Unfortunately that didn’t work. I changed to the basic Twenty Seven theme, made the edit like you said and it did display correctly on that theme. But once I changed back to Kleo, the labels went back to Advanced Search.
Any other ideas?
I can’t think of any other workaround…
I suggest you report this issue to Kleo, as their custom template doesn’t allow editing the ‘Advanced Search’ text.
