    Hi Chris,

    Version 5.3 was released on February 7, so 5.3 probably worked for you, but it no longer does. This makes me think that some other changes on your site could cause the error.

    If you wish, I can take a look. I’ll need a WP admin access to your test site, which you can share privately using my Contact page.

    Hi Chris,

    Could you please specify the BP Profile Search version that used to work correctly? You can use the WP Rollback plugin to easily switch plugin versions.

    Hi Parviz,

    Your form template is provided by your theme, so I suggest you ask Kleo if you wish to change the field size.

    Alternatively, you could enter a shorter field label in your Edit Form page.

    Yes, you can add this code to your bp-custom.php file:

    add_action ('bps_field_before_query', 'append_percent_sign');
    function append_percent_sign ($f)
    {
    	if ($f->code == 'field_32')
    	{
    		$f->value .= '%';
    	}
    }

    Replace 32 with the actual ID of your field.

    Hello Kasimir,

    You can select the search mode is like.

    To search for all the numbers that begin with 23, enter 23% in your search field (the % sign matches any number of characters).

    You can find more information here:

    Hi Andrew,

    As promised, the new version 5.3.3 should fix the ID issue you reported.

    Sorry, I didn’t notice the current range starts from 19 🙂

    Well, if you didn’t set the range, probably the settings are elsewhere, say in your theme or in your profile field. Did you look there? And anyway the question is, who is setting the current range right now? BP Profile Search doesn’t set any range by itself.

    Hi Carsten,

    How does your search field appear right now (e.g. two input boxes)?
