Hello, I am a beginner in CSS.
I would like to change the appearance and position of the advanced search fields. I’m looking for in trying, but I do not quit. I would ask for help, as should be found in the relevant class browser for the selected fields for all search engines and where can I change the landing, yo, arrangement and style

    Hi Michal,

I’m not a CSS expert either, and I’m unable to give you a specific answer.

As a general advice, I suggest you add the new styles to the style sheet of your theme. If you wish, you can also edit the form templates to add classes or to change the HTML of your form; after you edit a form template, move it to your theme folder, otherwise it will be overwritten in the next BP Profile Search update.

    Hello Andrea,

I’ve a question with regard to your interessting plugin.

For my buddypress community customers are enabled to search with their individuell (customized i.e. age, sex, country …) frontend search form.
Your plugin “BP Profile Search” used currently.

The issue is, that the user customized search form can’t saved in their profile.

Have you a solution for this must-have?
Thanks a lot for a quickly response.

    Friendly regards

    Hello Sebastian,

It’s not possible to save a search in a user’s profile, but I can suggest a workaround.

If you set the Form Method to GET, the search results page can be bookmarked, and the bookmark can be used in later browser sessions. Could this trick help?

    Hello Andrea,

    thanky for quickly response.
That’s a solution for a while, thanks, but not convinient.

The BP Profile Search is the only one of all search plugins that work fine, the bulding is clearly and isn’t more then a search form. What I try to explain, I’am looking for a stable and slim solution. BP Profile Search is exactly that native thing. Also lovely Andrea you must make me happy. 😉

Tell me, when is this function available and what can I do for you?

    Friendly reagards!

Last but not least, my community based on buddypress, why that is a native, clean and redundant member plugin for wordpress community and it gives a highest level of independence.
